Berkshire Humane Society

Postscript February, 2016: The reading at BHS is something I will remember forever. Even that night, after we had read, Mary, Joan, Michelle and I all marveled at how special it was, how each reader and her poems had meshed together so beautifully. This synergy, harmony, magic was thanks to Michelle, who I had called asking if she’d be willing to do (another) animal reading with me, this time at Berkshire Humane (Mary had reached out to Jenny Browdy about her interest in hosting a BFWW event). I had some uninspiring title. Michelle came up with the title, enlisted the peerless Joan Murray, and the rest, it is not an exaggeration to say, is history I will long remember.
